Authorities are seeking the public’s help solving a fatal hit-and-run cold case in Newark.

Police say Carey Suitt was struck and killed by a hit-and-run-driver on Freeway Drive East and South Center Street in Orange on Oct. 5, 2006.

The suspect, who was driving a black 2005 GMC Envoy, fled on Hickory Street following the crash, according to witnesses.
